This has got to be the greatest movie ever. "I eat the talking bees because I'm George Washington Christ" is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Please make a scene selection so I can die of laughter, and these poorly written reviews cease from existence.
I'll think about putting a scene selection at the end someday. For now, you can watch the .swf file using QuickTime player (you can move through it like a movie).
Oh, and be on the lookout for "George Washington Christ" t-shirts in 2004!
This was a very unique submission, possibly the only one like it in the portal. Keep up the good work!
The emperor says...
Eh... not the best
This wasn't the best flash I've seen, but far from the worst. I enjoyed the book, and this is a welcome rendition, though I, as usual would have changed some things. But that's just me.
However, next time, the dialogue should be more... organic. It sounded like they were typing what they would say into computer programs, both because of the bad voice acting (though not your fault) and the long pauses.
PS, it's Zaroff, not Zoroff.
Yes! If only people would read the commontary before the reveiw the movie! It was not my fault, i did multiple recordings with each person, but a AzN and a Mexican cant speak the best English. And they were my partners, nothing i could have done about it, they needed to do SOMETHING related with the project.
This was an excellent film to watch, even though I don't really like Megaman, especially for a first submission. I do have some technical suggestions for your next film, which I hope will be arriving soon:
1: Make the flash larger. Even if you kept the sprites the same size, it's just annoying to have the viewing area be so small.
B) Replace the music with Megaman sound effects.
4. Some areas were a little too fast paced to comprehend, like the bullet hitting the enemy's explosive thing... I didn't know what was happening.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll definitely put them into practice. Although I'd rather not take out the music entirely. :p
Just some technical errors for you if you plan to make more DBZ movies.
1. The final flash is done with two hands, not one.
2. You spelled Kakarotte wrong.
3. The kamehameha wave starts with the hands in a pressed-together position for the "ka" and are brought back for the "me." The energy doens't actually begin collecting until the the "hame" part.
Otherwise, well done.
I didn't find this particularly funny or interesting, but I could tell that you put a lot of effort into this, and it shows! The graphics and sound were better than most other flashes I've seen in a while.
I love movies with the peanut butter jelly song!
Very nicely done!
One question though: How can the guitarist be playing with both hands moving at the same time without a strap? It seems to defy some laws of physics there...
WooT! In your face Newton. Glad you liked it.
